This is the 'Downloads' section of my website. Here you will find a listing of programs, which I have created and am distributing for free. Use these programs however you see fit. Cobra ver. 1.03

This is a traditional snake like game. The object is to get as many points as you can by eating apples without hitting your own tail. Each apple you eat the long your tail gets and the faster you will move.

This program was created using Visual Basic 6 so you may need to download and install MSVBVM60.DLL on your computer before you can play it.

spell_check ver. 1.14 (updated Jan. 05, 2004)

Update: Version 1.14 has fixes for numbers and improved suggested words, uses both the Soundex and a Metaphone algorithm.

Version 1.13 has fixes for quoting issues and line feeds.

Spell check is a simple, free spell checker written in Cold Fusion with a Microsoft Access Database backend for use on input forms. With some help from Drew Nathanson ver 1.10 is now available. Improvements include better documentation, a better demo, and a soundex algorithm for finding suggested words. Please report any errors or updates you make to me at sam@samroach.com.
